Sources
We rely on peer-reviewed clinical literature, guidance from professional bodies (such as the American Psychiatric Association and FDA labeling), and reputable secondary sources when appropriate. We prefer primary sources over marketing materials.
Voice and tone
We use calm, evidence-informed language. We avoid superlatives, guaranteed-outcome claims, and hype. We use phrases such as "research suggests" and "some patients experience" to reflect the state of the evidence and individual variability.
Author identification
Content is produced by the practice's editorial team. Where relevant, individual authors and medical reviewers are identified along with the last-reviewed date.
Medical review
Content addressing clinical topics is reviewed by a licensed clinician per our Medical Review Policy before publication and periodically thereafter.
Corrections
If we find or are notified of an error, we correct the page and update the "Last reviewed" date. Significant substantive changes are noted where appropriate.
Independence
We do not accept payment or gifts in exchange for content coverage. Any commercial relationships that could reasonably be perceived to affect content are disclosed.
